7th Annual Mercy Home For Boys and Girls Poker and Casino Night

Mercy Home for Boys and Girls celebrated their 7th Annual Poker and Casino night with another sold out crowd at Gibsons Steakhouse. As 300+ guests arrived, they had the opportunity to check in and receive a Rivers Casino $100 Free Bet card to be redeemed at the casino!

 The evening, began as guests enjoyed passed appetizers including mini crab cakes, assorted bruschetta and grilled lambchops before indulging in the full Gibsons dinner buffet featuring fried calamari, prime rib, and roasted turkey. Guests also enjoyed a fully stocked premium bar compliments of Chicago Beverage, Diageo, and Breakthru Beverage Group.

Once the poker tournament commenced, the room was electric as each player was eager to earn one of the ten seats at the final table. Some of the sought-after poker prizes,  included, the grand prize of a $10,000 seat at the WSOP or the option to take home a brand new Rolex in Oystersteel and White Gold, a 3-night stay at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, a reserved table for six people at Theater on the Lake to watch the 2020 Chicago Air & Water Show, Chicago Cubs tickets, Chicago Staycations and more!

With the tournament well underway, other guests enjoyed charitable gaming at the Rivers Casino sponsored blackjack tables to have a chance at winning exciting prizes including a Series 3 Apple Watch, a one-night stay at Hotel Essex, a brand new Smart TV, wine gift basket and more!

The evening concluded with a dessert spread featuring Gibsons’ infamous chocolate mousse cake, carrot cake, and key lime tarts. Thomas Biasco took home some new bling on his wrist by opting for the Rolex over the WSOP Seat!
