The Chicago Lighthouse held their 4th annual Raising the Stakes for Vision Poker and Casino night at Gibsons Steakhouse/Hugo’s Frog Bar on Thursday, February 27, 2020.
There were over 225 guests in attendance with 120+ poker players and 100+ casino guests. After filling up at the buffet, the night kicked off with a live presentation featuring comedian Ben Noble, who brought plenty of laughs. The large print cards were shuffled and the games began!
The casino featured blackjack, roulette, craps, and plinko. There were plenty of prizes to be won including a raffle prize featuring a 7-night stay in Mexico! The poker tournament saw an increase in funds raised due to increasing the amount of chips guests received with a double rebuy. In addition, the final table auction brought in $2,000. At the end of the night, Mike Johnson was the last one standing and was crowned champion.
Guests had more opportunities to enjoy Gibsons’ wonderful food spread with late night snacks and a full dessert buffet including apple pie, carrot cake, Gibsons’ signature chocolate mousse cake, key lime tarts, and mini chocolate chip cookies.
Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in this year’s Raising the Stakes for Vision to help Chicago Lighthouse reach their goals!
