The Annual Mercy Home Poker Night is known as a phenomenal event, and this year was no exception! 2017 marks the 4th year of the benefit, which brought over 300 attendees to Gibsons Steakhouse and Hugo’s Frog Bar for an evening to benefit the children living at Mercy Home.
Upon arrival, VIP guests were treated to a Heaven Hill bourbon tasting with selections including Evan Williams Single Barrel and Elijah Craig Small Batch. Passed appetizers, including crab cakes and shrimp, gave colleges and friends a taste of the dinner to come while catching up with cocktails from the open bar. Guests dined on Gibsons signature dinner selections, including prime rib and turkey carving stations.
Players took their seats, eager to earn a seat at the final table and walk away with an incredible prize. In addition to the grand prize $10,000 seat to the World Series of Poker, players had the opportunity to win Chicago Cubs tickets, and a Chicago Staycation package at LondonHouse. The poker tournament wasn’t the only opportunity to leave with an amazing prize. The blackjack tables remained full throughout the evening, as guests were eager to win prizes such as a Kendra Scott jewelry pairing and dinner for two at Nonnonia.
