SCORE Business Forum: Growing Your Business in the Digital Age

On February 20, 2018, 300 small business owners gathered at the Loews Chicago Hotel for the 1st Annual SCORE Small Business Forum. Sponsored by the Chicago Chapter of SCORE, the forum hosted three panel discussions as well as featured keynote speaker Susan Wilson Solovic who spoke about Upping Your Game in the Digital World.

Each panel was stacked with top performers in their respective industries including Margaret McGraw of Wintrust Financial, Diran Hafiz of Microsoft, and Ken Stolman of Salesforce representing the panel Collecting & Effectively Using Digital Data to Grow Sales. Marc McGuigan of Bridge Marketing, Rod Holmes of Chicago Style SEO, and Samuel Thimothy of OneIMS and Clickx represented the Powerful Digital Marketing panel and representing the Social Media Panel was Tracy Schmidt of Socially Authentic and Chad Kramer of Facebook. Following each panel, attendees were able to participate in a Q & A session with the panelists to gain a deeper understanding of each topic.

Throughout the day, attendees were able to visit a lively Vendor Village featuring over 25 vendors that were eager to connect with the small business owners including Comcast Business, Bridge Marketing, Clickx, Yelp, and the Women’s Business Development Center, just to name a few! In addition to the day’s activities, each attendee went home with complimentary copies of It’s Your Biz by keynote speaker Susan Wilson Solovic and Shortcut Your Startup by Courtney & Carter Reum plus a delicious treat provided by Eli’s Cheesecake.
